Shhhhhh...

    No matter what the mind presents allow your finger to touch the lips and whisper Shhhhh....

Through form...

    The truth of who you most deeply are is silent and changeless. Once this is directly known, what moves through your form unfolds like a bloom for the first time, all the while changing yet remaining changeless.

  

Heart...

           "That what you feel within is what you see without."...ACIM

     The heart has been a long time symbol representing many ideas....let this labeling, idea, go too and discover what is truly there.

Ease...

   It can feel as thou thoughts race through the mind like a thorough bread race hoarse with no finish line in sight. It is the attention that we give to thought(s) that brings in a weight, a heaviness, a relentless feeling or a needing to rest, escape or whatever we think that will help us get away from it all. It is ironic that we feel the need to get away from the very thing we give all our attention to...thought.

   We are so conditioned to; doing, performance, earning, attaining, etc. along with the measuring of ourself with what we have achieved, accomplished, so on and so forth...that we run continual cycles over and over again... a bit like an environment statement of "renew, reuse, recycle" and we are still dis-eased most of the time. Keeping the separate I identity ensures effort! You can count on it! Drop your attention with thoughts and you drop effort... what remains is ease with being present, watching, observing. Your mind will be sure to kick something up for you to lean on, work out or you mustn't forget scenario...switch off the attention to thought and return to effortlessness, ease with what is.

Silence...

When anything other than silence is happening the personal I has stepped in and the complete identity of seeing yourself as separate is running. Here the story begins again you playing the leading role.

Do you believe you are a separate being?

"You have one mouth and two ears, talk less and listen more."

Hide and Go Seek...

"Hide and Go Seek" or "Hide and Seek" was absolutely the best game in the neighborhood growing up. We played all summer long, beginning after supper, playing well into the dark.

On the spiritual path it really is a bit like "Hide and Go Seek!" We Hide behind the image as a separate self believing ourselves to be real... once the question arises "who am I?" or "why are we here?"  the game begins in the pursuit of an answer, in other words the Seeking begins.

Once one realizes that Seeking in and of itself is only a mind game created by the separate personal I self...there is no longer a reason or meaning to Hide! A bit of a game....once seen.

Come out from hiding, drop seeking...game over!

The Me Party...

           A few years ago I went to see the newly released Muppet Movie (I am a Muppet fan!) mid way through the movie I burst with laughter at the scene where the leading female star along with Miss Piggy sang:
                  "I'm having a me party
                   A party by myself
                   A me party
                   I don't need nobody else
                   I'm having a me party
                   I'm the first and last to show
                   There's no one at this party that I don't already know."

    I thought how brilliant...the perfect ego song!  A me party is always happening when ones motivations are coming from a place that makes the "me" (personal I) feel better about itself.

   This can be sticky especially when we throw in the moral compass, virtues, doing the "right" thing, etc.. Check in and be honest with where the motivation is coming from and drop "The Me Party."

    Your mind will jump to justified...this is just anther thought hiding the truth. See "The Me Party" and you just may burst with laughter!

    Nothing external needs to change, it is from within that is required.... anew lens, the lens that has always been there.
